Over time, even with careful exploitation, the body of the car loses its former glitter, microscopic like scratches, "spider" appears. All this is the result of damage to the varnish on the paint surface. The body polishing helps to restore the lacquer and return to the body of luster, and also for some time to protect the varnish-paint coating from minor damage.

The body polishing can be divided into two groups:

1. Protective polishing: applies to new and freshcoloured vehicles. This type of polishing makes it possible to protect the varnish-paint coating that is in normal condition.

2. Reconstruction polishing: this is an abrasive polishing which makes cars, which are already damaged by operation. These are injuries such as rubbing, "spider", small chips and scratches, tarniness. For all the time of life of the car (if it has not been completely repainted) the abrasive polishing can only be made 2-3 times, as each polishing removes a part of the varnish-paint coating.

The abrasive polishing is better than trust the professionals. It is carried out with the help of the polishing equipment (a machine with a disc for polishing) and requires considerable experience. The wrong angle of treatment or excessive use of the typewriter can result in severe damage to the varnish coating, which will result in the detail being repainted.

Protective polishing can be done with your own hands. This will require a simple wax polo in a jar or a tube, as well as soft pieces of cloth. The circular movements have to be polished and dry (the time of drying depends on the specific polity). After that, we need circular motions to polish the body. The work needs to be done in a warm room where direct sunlight does not penetrate. Such a polishing will last 2-3 jersey, after which the procedure will have to be repeated. The concealment of the body with more persistent protective polyroles is also better than to trust the professionals.
