To change the grid filter on the Chevrolet Cobalt fuel module, do the following:
(1) Remove the fuel tank.
(2) Disconnect the wire from the connector of the fuel module.
(3) Remove the module from the module.
4) Take the bar from the soft metal and lock it into the ring of the prize-ring.
(5) Carefully, with the strokes of the hammer, rotate the ring counterclockwise.
(6) Remove the ring and remove the fuel tank from the tank.
7) With the screwdriver, detach the filter anchors with the pump.
(8) Remove the filter with the pump at the pump assembly and, with the screwdriver, remove the filter from the pump.
(9) Reverse all order. When you install the fuel module, you must ensure that the label on the fuel module is forward.
