The following materials are needed to replace the valve cover: the spacer (code: 963 530 02) and the 15-piece sealings (feature code: 963 530 07). The rings are sold in packages of ten, so you must order two sets.
The first step is to disconnect the connector from the location sensor, as well as the crankcase ventilation ducts. You can then unwind the hinges of the black plastic cover. It is necessary to pull the cover away from the right side of the screw to the right side. The cover plate is secured to the GRM housing cover using a latch to be removed from the clutch.
The next step is to clean up the adjacent area of the block. For this operation, for example, a box cutter. It's best to remove the tan and the dirt by its rear side.
The covering surface of the valve cover and the unit must be degreasing. In addition to the surfaces themselves, it is also necessary to remove the slot in the cover in which the pad is located. In addition, the surface and the ground are recommended to be processed by a sealant.
After surface treatment, it is possible to insert a gasket, adjust it by paws, recorders and tides, replace the compaction rings and install the cover.
The bolts must be in contact with the sealing rings. Then you need to attach the sensor connector to the expansion unit and the ventilation ducts. The cover must be left for one or two hours until it solidifies. After that, the bolts must be bolted to the point.
