The TCS antivirus system uses sensors of the ABS system and controls the propulsion of the engine to minimize the use of wheel drive. The ESP electronic stability system has a more complex device-it includes ABS, TCS, and additional sensors. Sensors track speed, longitudinal and lateral acceleration sensors, the throttle position sensor and brake pedal force.
The data allows ESP to continuously monitor the road situation, the driver's actions and, if necessary, intervene to prevent skidding, to help return the vehicle to the trajectory, etc. In general, the ESP system is the next stage of TCS development.
