At the bottom of the central console Volkswagen Toareg 2 is a washbox control box and differential locking, which allows you to adjust the modes of operation of the complete transmission:
-The ON ROAD position. This mode is intended for normal paved roads.
-Location OFF ROAD. The mode is used for road-to-road and off-road traffic.
-The LOW location. It includes downshift gearboxes. It is applied in heavy off-road sections, coupled to the towing of a trailer under difficult conditions, while climbing up to 45 degrees steep.
-Position 4-Interaxial Differential lock.
-Regulation 5-rear axle differential.
