To activate the cruise control on Prius, you must press the button on the lever to catch the Cruise lamp. At the same time, it is necessary to accelerate at least 60 km/h (European and American versions) or 40 km/h (Japanese versions) and press the lever downwards. This will commit the selected speed.
Controlling cruise control:
- If pressed down, speed will decrease, up-up
- Press down and hold-active deceleration
- Press up and hold-active acceleration
- Pull back or press the brake pedal-turn off the cruise control (the speed will not be held)
- Press up to restore the speed that was before the cruise control was disabled.
