
Self-diagnosis of the climate control system detects the failure of one of the sensors or the lack of a contact in the appropriate chain. To run diagnostics, you must have:
1. Turn the key to the ON position or start the Hyundai Tucson engine.
2. Press and retain the AUTO button on the climate control unit;
3. Press the OFF button four times in a row.
4. Delete the AUTO button.
After flashing the display, a two-digit service code is displayed. The value "00" is not a fault, and the remaining errors are decrypted as follows:
11-Wing in a temperature sensor chain;
12-short circuit of the temperature sensor;
13-Wings in the outside temperature sensor circuit;
14-KZ of the outside temperature sensor;
15-Wing in the oJ temperature sensor chain;
16-KZ in the oJ temperature sensor chain;
17-failure of the evaporator temperature sensor circuit;
18-KZ evaporator temperature sensor;
19-break or closure in the temp chain. door potentiometer;
20-temp failure. door potentiometer;
21-Gap or closure in mode door potentiometer chain;
22-mode door potentiometer;
23-Wings in the circuit of the air humidity sensor;
24-KZ in the air humidity sensor circuit.
