Many owners of gasoline versions of the Jaguar X-Type complain about the increased fuel consumption. This can be caused by more than one:

  1. Catalyst catalysts: in this case, they need to be replaced by new or installed flame arresters and electronic "deceptors" of oxygen sensors.
  2. A problem with one or more fuel injects: the nozzle is starting to "replace" with petrol instead of spraying it. At the same time, the engine may start to work in a stable, triple.
  3. It is necessary to replace the spark plugs and the (or) the coil.
