For the whole line of Hyundai Tucson diesel and petrol engines, the manufacturer recommends using Shell Helix oil. Engine oils meeting standards are permitted:
-For petrol engines-not less than the SJ class, the SL-API, not lower than the GF-3 class on ILSAC;
-For a diesel engine with a WGT (112 hp), not less than CF-4 via Api, not less than B4 for ACEA;
-For a diesel engine with a VGT (140 hp.), if there is a particulate filter at least C3 on ACEA, if not below CH-4, API or not less than B4 through ACEA.
