To repair the fuel pump on the Ford Mondeo III, it is necessary to disconnect the PAC. Then disconnect the pipe line from the distribution tube. Since the fuel system is under pressure, petrol flows even when the engine is stopped.
If the connection remains dry, activate the ignition without starting the engine. If the pump does not work, check the fuse or safety relay. If the connection remains dry, check the pump.
If, after these procedures, the pump has not been made, remove the cladding under the rear seat and gently hit the pump body with the hammer. Check the connections of the connecting terminals and verify the voltage with a die-tester.
If the voltage is present, it is likely to be a defect in the pump or in the connection. If the pump is working, but there is no fuel in the pressure hose, the fuel filter or fuel line is contaminated.
