In order to check the ventilating of the tank on the Ford Mondeo III, heat the engine up to the operating temperature and leave it at idling speed. Disconnect the low pressure hose from the pressure relief valve. Check the valve connection at high pressure to check the operation of the electromagnetic valve. To do this, disconnect the wiring from the EMC and extract the hose from the electromagnetic valve and remove the valve from the valve and dismount the valve by first marking the connections for mounting.
- Disconnect the low pressure hose from the pressure relief valve.
- Check pressure on the valve connection at high pressure to check the operation of the electromagnetic valve.
- To do this, disconnect the wire from the PSC and remove the tracer from the electromagnetic valve.
- Then disconnect the hoses from the electromagnetic valve and dismount the valve by first marking the points of connection for installation.
