To dismount the ignition at the Ford Mondeo III, you must: Disconnect the PSC and the cable connections on the ignition block. The Ignition Unit is anchored on the cylinder head. Remove the unit from the holder by undoing the four mounting screws. Then mount the new assembly and tighten the screws at 6 Nm. Make sure that the cable plugs are fixed on the side and check the strength connections.
- Disconnect the PSC and the cable connections on the ignition block. Spark plugs are fixed to the cylinder head.
- Remove the block from the holder by turning away the four mounting screws.
- Then mount the new block and tighten the screws at 6 Nm.
- Make sure the cable's got to be on the side.
- Insert all of the wiring in order into the unit and test the strength connections.
