On the BMW 5 E60 produced before 2007, three variants of engines (all six-cylinder assemblies):
1. 170-strong (125 kW) 520i motor with 210 Nm torque.
2. 231-strong (170 kW) motor 530i with a torque of 300 Nm.
3. 218-strong (160 kW) motor 530d with a torque of 500 Nm.
The first two engines are gasoline, implemented with the innovative technology of VANOS, the third option is a diesel equipped with the second generation Common Rail system.
All three types of engines for BMW 5 E60 are equipped with 6-speed mechanical checkpoints in basic picking.
