The procedure for replacing the generator belt with BMW 1 of the first generation is as follows: We take off the cover of the air inlet. If we plan the same belt again, we mark the direction of its rotation. We're going to put the belt on a bolt, prestretched to the point, and fix it with a suitable tool. We're going to get the generator belt off. We're going to put it all back.
- Remove the cover of the air intake.
- If we plan to put the same belt back then we note the direction of rotation.
- Install the tenor of the belt on the bolt, prelimine to the lock, and fix it with a suitable tool.
- We're taking off the generator belt.
- Set it all back.
