In order to change the injector pump on the A4 3rd generation of diesel engine 2.0, you need to: Remove the plastic cover of the engine and disconnect the ventilation and air ducts. Remove the valve cover. You can't remove the bolts. Carefully lift off the balance shaft, remove the light from the candles and remove the slots from the nozzles. Pump-formsPosition the injector pump: Remove the injector T10163 or other suitable instrument. Install a new pump-nozzle in reverse sequence. tighten the bolts first by 3 Nm, then by ¼, and then by ½ turns. Bolts of balancing can spin so-first 1.3.5 by 20 Nm and then another by ¼ turns, then bolts 2.4 in the same way.
- Remove the plastic cover of the engine and disconnect the ventilation ducts and air tubes.
- Remove the valve cover.
- Turn on the transfer (car with ICPC) and move the car until the nozzle is put up on the nozzle.
- Loosin the counter-nuts of the adjustment bolts.
- Adjust the adjustment screw so that the pushrod spring is pressed.
- Roll back the balance bolts (first through one, then spin the others in several steps). You can't take bolts.
- Carefully lift the balancing shaft with balance.
- Remove the candle caps and remove the slots from the nozzles.
- Reach the fastenings and push the wires back to the side.
- Roll back the pump-injector-injector.
- Remove a T10163 lift pump or other suitable instrument.
- Install a new injector pump in reverse sequence. tighten the bolts first by 3 Nm, then by ¼, and then by ½ turns. Bolts of balancing can spin so-first 1.3.5 by 20 Nm and then another by ¼ turns, then bolts 2.4 in the same way.
