The starter at Audi A4 generation 3 is removed when the ignition is off and the battery is disconnected. If there is an autonomous heater, then unscrew its exhaust pipe with a noise-proofing screen. Then take off the screen, unwind the wire, and disconnect the starter terminals. We're taking off the lockup on the starter's plush. Detach the attachment of the starter bracket, and remove the two screws and remove the starter. Set the starter in reverse order.
