In the case of an instruction, it is not recommended to warm up the vehicle at all. Warm it, preferably on motion, on a small turn until the engine heat up to the operating temperature.
Automechanics still recommend a car with a varthet to heat for about 5-7 minutes, and in the winter a little longer.
