The speed limit at Mercedes S-Class (W221) displays information on the maximum permissible speed of traffic on a given section of the road. It works through a video camera that reads information on road signs. Also, the assistant may indicate speed limit in difficult road conditions-for example, in rain, in ice and so on.
To enable an assistant, you must:
- Click on the Command system controller.
- Controller rotation selects "Navi" among the main functions.
- Select "Speed limit assistant" and press the controller check mark.
- The system is powered on.
