Until December 2012, all smart SUV SsangYong were equipped with a front suspension, in which the lower ball support was working on a tensile (bottom lever attached) and removable. The underside of the new sample shall use the lower levers with an integrated (non-removable) ball support, and the support is self-supporting. The upper arm in the new suspension remained the same.
The suspension of the new sample is more reliable, but if the ball support leg is worn, the bottom lever must be changed completely.
