The verification of the operation of the mechanical part of the ACPT on Honda Akord 7 is performed as follows:
(1) Put the car on the parking brake and put the brakes on the wheels.
2) Disables the air-conditioner.
3) Start the engine and wait for the cooling fan to start.
(4) Transfer lever to position D.
(5) Press the brake pedal until it is fully applied.
(6) Press the gas pedal until no longer than 6 to 8 seconds.
(7) See readings of the tachometer. The frequency must be equal to:
(1) 2.0 L-2100 (range 1950 to 2250 rpm).
2) For motor 2.4 l-2000 (range from 1850 to 2150 rpm).
(8) We give the box cool by moving lever to position N for a few minutes.
(9) Repeat procedure for R.
The probe of the liquid level at the ACCPR 7 is not provided.
