Thanks to the Splitview on the Mercedes S-class (W221), the driver and the front passenger can simultaneously use the screen of the parent device. This is achieved by the display of two different indications depending on the angle of view. When using the system, consider the following points:
- You cannot use the same content sources at the same time. For example, if the driver listens to music from a DVD changer, the passenger can use data from a CD-card, radio, USB, but not from a DVD changer.
- Only entertainment functions (TV and Video) can be used separately through the Splitview system.
- Use the buttons on the steering wheel to control only the functions intended for the driver. The passenger should be using the remote.
You can enable the system from the "Car" function line of the main menu of the Comand.
