It is not easy to replace the Mondeo 4 salon filter, but it is quite possible to do so on its own. To replace the filter, you will need to dismount the gas pedal. We have to get ready to work in the area of the pedal node, so it is desirable to clean everything around and prepare a stand on which you can get knees.
The tools will require a 10-key ring and a 7, a 7-day key, an end-key extension cord (extender) key.
The first stage of work is the dismantling of the gas pedal. It is fixed by three nuts by 10. It's not gonna be easy for them, there's gonna be an emergency. You don't need to turn off the pedal gas, you don't need to put it away.
Now, remove the cover of the filter. It is secured by three screws at 7. The lower is the lower one, but the top is better used for the top-down key.
After the cover is removed, the old salon filter should be moved to the lower right side. Then you also need to insert a new salon filter. Then, install the cover. It is necessary for all screws to be used, otherwise it will inevitably form a crack. The final stage is a gas pedal installation.
