Some owners of Kaliber are faced with the fact that the driver's driver is blowing hot air from the driver's side, while the passenger is only cold. Many people believe that the problem is in the shale, but the system of separate climate control is not installed in the Caliber.
Most likely, the reason is that the heater heat radiator has been scored, and therefore anti-freeze has begun to "walk" in a small circle of cooling system.
The diator can score for the following reasons:
- Very old antifreeze in the system (it is recommended to change at least once in 2-3 years).
- There's a poor antifreeze in the system.
- The antifreeze concentrator was not diluted with distilled water.
- The antifreeze list is not in accordance with the manufacturer's standards.
Replacing the heater heat sink is a laborious and expensive process requiring the removal of the entire dashboard. To avoid this problem, it is necessary to regularly replace antifreeze.
