The initialization of the lift is necessary the first time this element is included in the car and after any repair work. Only after the initialization of the grass-protective function of the window-lifts will function properly and reliably. The procedure itself runs in the following sequence:
1. Press the switch of the window-lift switch in the "Delete" direction.
2. Press and hold the button for 15 to 25 seconds as soon as the glass reaches its lowest position.
3. Release the button and immediately press it again only in the "Raise" direction. The button won't let go.
4. The glass should reach its extreme upper position and then completely fall back and rise again. All this time, the button must be pressed in the "Raise" direction.
5. When the glazing reaches its highest position again, the initialization is considered complete.
