To check the Highlighting of the ignition on the Honda Civil 8: Remove the upper and lower covers of the steering column. Disconnect the "6P" connector. The LED light emitting diode (LED) must be turned on if the power is connected to the cell "No. 6" and the "No. 5" cell is connected to the "mass". If the LED is not switched on, replace the locking mechanism of the steering column with the assembly.
- Remove the top and bottom cover of the steering column.
- Disconnect "6P" connector.
- The illuminating LED (LED) shall be activated if the food is connected to the cell "No. 6" and the cell "No. 5" is connected to the "mass".
- If the LED does not turn on, replace the locking mechanism of the steering column in the assembly.
