The Luke on RAV4 has four operating modes:
(1) Manually opening/closing. For manual mode, press the SLIDE OPEN or SLIDE CLOSE buttons (less than 0.3 seconds). The hatch will move towards the opening/closing, and stop when the button is released.
(2) Automatic opening/closing. If you hold the SLIDE OPEN or SLIDE CLOSE buttons longer than 0.3 seconds, the opening or closing of the hatch automatically occurs.
(3) Hand lift and lowering. For manual mode, press the TILT UP or TILT DOWN buttons (less than 0.3 seconds). The hatch will move towards the lifting/lowering direction and stop when the button is released.
(4) Automatic recovery and lowering. When the TILT UP or TILT DOWN button is held, the full lifting/lowering of the hatch is automatic.
