For the first generation Mazda 6, it is recommended to install batteries with the following characteristics:

  • Engine L8 (1.8 litres): 12V-40HH, 52HH
  • Engine LF (2.0 litre): 12V-40HH, 52HH
  • Engine L3 (2.3 litres): 12V-40HH, 55HH
