To remove the generator on the Honda Civil 8: Disable the power of the generator and the black wire (BLK) from the generator. Detach the connector and the anchors of the wiring harness from the generator.
- Disable the CCM and remove the drive belt.
- Disconnect the generator connector and the black wire (BLK) from the generator.
- Disconnect the connectors and anchors of the wiring harness from the generator.
- Remove the generator.
- Install the generator in reverse order.
- Enter the security code from the theft of the audio system or navigation system, and then the custom audio settings.
- Set the clock time.
- Perform the procedure to initialize the electrical window-lift control unit.
