Many owners of Prius NWH10 face problems with the ABS system. It is connected with a structural defect of the system: in the circuit of the circuit breakers that are suitable for the relay of the ABS system, have insufficient length, they are constantly being burned in the strained state, due to which over time the contact is interrupted or lost.
A problem can be solved in two ways.
- The first is the replacement of a regular wire in a tourniquet with a similar one.
- The second is the construction of a new wire, bypassing the ragged.
This type of cliff is usually accompanied by an error in the ABS, and the diagnostic scanner fails with a "main delay" error.
