The Volkswagen Tuareg 2 with a hybrid power installation has several modes of operation:
-It's just a gasoline engine. The electric motor operates in the generator mode and, if necessary, recharges the high voltage battery.
-Fast and Furious. Simultaneous operation of petrol and electric motors, which gives maximum acceleration. The mode is only available for a short time.
-The electric drive train. The mode is used at low speeds. The petrol engine is automatically connected after the battery or fast.
-E-MODE. The extended electric drive mode.
-Stop. The gasoline engine is switched off by a stationary vehicle. The internal combustion engine can also be switched off at high speed when the gas is released.
-Recovery of energy. The charge of the high voltage battery takes place at the expense of the braking energy.
