Procedure for verifying hydrocompensators in Mitsubishi Padero 3:

(1) Start the engine.

(2) Listen to the sound. If the noise does not appear or does not appear immediately after launch, the cause is not in hydrocompensators.

(3) On the idling speed, increase the load on the engine-for example, including the ACPR lever in position D, including the air-conditioner, etc. If the noise level becomes louder, the problem is likely to be in the bearing of the knee or liner, rather than in hydrocompensators.

(4) If after the engine idling, the sound of the engine has disappeared or decreased, the air or oil is contaminated.

(5) If necessary, clean hydrocompensators.
