KIA Sorento II engine will be broken with a small amount of fuel in the tank

Some KIA Sorento II owners are facing a problem: the engine stalls when there is still fuel left in the tank, which is about 60 to 70 km long, according to the on-board computer. The problem is related to the withdrawing pump that is responsible for the transfer of the fuel in the tank.
