A defective crankcase ventilation valve may result in an increase in fuel consumption and other problems. To verify that it is good:

1) Disconnect the hose from the crankcase ventilation valve.

(2) Remove the valve from the cover of the HBCD and connect it to the ventilation hose.

3) Start the motor and close the valve opening. There must be a vacuum (finger "sucking" inside).

(4) If there is no dilution, it is necessary to clean the valve by putting it in the solvent.

5) After this, check the mobility of the plunger inside the valve. You can use a thin bar to do this. The Plunger has to move freely.

(6) Place a valve in place and delay between 8 and 12 Nm.
