The deformed transverse lever in the Ford Mondeo III is to be fully replaced. To replace it with a handbrake and to looser the wheel nuts, lift the car with a jack and dock the rear axle with the underrun. Then remove the front wheel. For the Ford Mondeo III with diesel engine, dismantle the engine. For the Ford Mondeo III with gas-discharge headlamps: to remove the sensor of the axis of headlights. For all Ford Mondeo III: remove the radiator's front security from the secondary frame and lower the auxiliary frame to the appropriate side. Then, roll back the rear screws of the support frame and the retaining screws of the supporting frame. Then tighten the screws on the opposite side. Rescrew the front mounting screws and loosening the opposite screws on five turns. Lower the support frame, to avoid damaging the bearings of the transverse lever. Disconnect the two bearings and dismantle the transverse lever, reverse the mounting by using the new screws and nuts. Then remove the car from the jack and firmly tighten the bearings.

  • Lift the car with a jack and dock the rear axle with a chock.
  • Then remove the front wheel.
  • For the Ford Mondeo III with diesel engine, dismantle the lining of the engine. For the Ford Mondeo III with gas-discharge headlamps: Dismount the inclination sensor of the axis of the headlamp axis.
  • Then for all the Ford Mondeo III: Dismount the radiator front security from the secondary frame and drop the secondary frame on the appropriate side.
  • Reel the released paradise with a hydraulic jolt.
  • Next, roll back the rear screws of the support frame and the retaining screws of the supporting frame.
  • Loosin the opposite sides of the opposite side by five turns.
  • Unscrew the front mounting screws and loosening the opposite screws to five turns.
  • Delete the auxiliary frame so as not to damage the bearings of the transverse lever.
  • Dissociate both bearing locations and dismantle the transverse lever.
  • Reverse the mounting by using the new screws and nuts.
  • Next, remove the car from the jack and firmly tighten the bearings.
