As a general rule, the appearance of "trotting" in the VAZ-2105 with well-regulated suspension and correctly adjusted gathering is associated with the play in the gear reducer and/or the pendulum of the trapeze. The steering gear is a complex mechanism with large quantities of metallic parts which are worn by friction. The retractor is to be adjusted, but if the wear is too high, it should be moved or replaced in the service centre. The pendulum is not subject to repair and must be replaced in the event of a Luft detection.
