The pumping of hydraulic amplifier fluid on the Chevy Captiva is necessary after repair of the steering mechanism or the replacement of a liquid. To remove air from the system, do the following:
1) Rotating the rudder to the left and add the liquid to the hydraulic amplifier until the MIN mark.
(2) Start the engine and check the level of the liquid. If necessary, we will again pour it back to the MIN mark.
3) Scrolling the system, turning the rudder to the right and to the left, but not to the point. We continue to maintain the minimum fluid level.
4) Put the wheels straight.
(5) We give the engine about three minutes to work.
(6) Make a test trip by checking the steering control.
(7) Check the level of the liquid and, if necessary, preheat it to the MAX level.
