First generation BMW removal procedure: Take off the front wheel. Disconnect the stabilizer foot from the rack cabinet. Disconnect the ABS sensor connector from the front and hang the wire until it is attached to the rack. The brake disc wear sensor cables are also removed. If there is a road test sensor, the brake disc is removed. disconnect the pole from the transverse lever of the suspension lever. disconnect the transverse lever from the pivot arm. Disconnect the lateral lever from the pivoting pillar. If you do not have a centering finger at the top of the shock absorber, then mark the position of the top of the wheel.

  1. We're taking the front wheel.
  2. Disconnect the stabilizer foot from the rack cabinet.
  3. Disconnect the ABS sensor connector and hang the wire until it is attached to the rack.
  4. Similarly, disconnect and post the brake pad wear sensor.
  5. We're taking off the brake disc.
  6. If there is a road test sensor, disconnect its pole from the transverse lever of the suspension.
  7. Loosen the transverse lever to the crossover.
  8. Disconnect the transverse lever from the pivot arm.
  9. Disconnect from the pivot support the thrust and the steering gear.
  10. If the centering finger of the upper support of the shock absorber is absent, we shall note the position of the spire about the wheel arch.
  11. Fix the rack cabinet and unwind the top of the shock absorber.
  12. We're taking the stand.
  13. Install the shock absorber in reverse sequence.
