In order to get close to the gear selection mechanism, the protective cover must be removed. It is attached to the central tunnel through latches on the frame. Detach the frame so that the latches do not break. Therefore, it is not recommended to use a screwdriver or any other tools.
Now, you need to put your fingers on that part of the frame that's closer to the torpedo, moving it toward the gear lever, and then lift it up. After that, the two latches will release the latch. If you do not pull the border up completely, you need to push it on the left and right, releasing the side latches. Then we need to move the frame forward, to the torpedo, and pull it up with the beachet on the lever arm.
