To replace the second generation BMW coal-fired filter:
1) The key "on 10", twit 2 bolts under the glove box.
(2) Defer force, lowering the lid of the bar completely down. Don't be afraid to break the latch-they're metal.
3) Behind the bar, find the lid with 2 screws T-15.
4) Unlock the bolts, push the latch, and remove the cover. It is very difficult to withdraw because of a rubber sealant.
5) Change filter and gather everything back.
