In contrast to the 1.6 l., the removal of the third generation of the battery will require the dismantling of the air filter.

To remove the filter, remove the rubber retainer from the two pipes and the metal clamp from the pipe to the filter. On the right of the metal hobbit closer to the air filter body, there is a connector from which to switch off the wiring harness. Now you can disconnect the pipe duct from the air filter box. Then we need to pick up the air filter, because it's not fixed at the bottom, it's just standing on the rubber coaster.

The next step is to remove the battery directly. The plastic cover of the battery must be removed first. It is held on the sides of the tabs. You need to stretch the cover a little bit and lift it up, it's easy to reconnect. On the side of the battery, it is necessary to unpack two nuts, hold the battery and lift the long cover. After that, it remains to remove the terminals and raise the battery.
