At present the following types of vehicle headlights are the most widely available:

1. Reflector (reflector, parabolic) headlamps: the simplest type of vehicle headlamps. They have low efficiency.

2. Rejection lamps (headlamps with an elliptical reflector): a more advanced reflector design shall be provided by a more concentrated light beam.

3. Headlamps that have been used: these headlamps have the largest efficiency and are structurally similar to the projector. A special clipper is responsible for the clear upper cut-off line. Many of these lamps are suitable for the installation of xenon lamps.

In order to obtain the light optics in the car, which is originally equipped with reflex or flash lights, you can go several ways:

1. Obtain original, if any, original lamps. Advantages-guaranteed high quality of light, are designed for use in the car to which they are installed. The disadvantage is usually the very high price of the installation kit, which includes not only the headlights but also the autoproofreader, as well as the original retail blocks.

2. To buy tunnying optics. High-quality tungure optics is very expensive. As a rule, much more expensive than the original "original". Cheap headlights do not guarantee quality lighting, quickly fail and can sometimes lead to short circuit or even fire.

3. Install the lens on the available headlamps. This process is called retrograde. The advantage of this approach is the maintenance of standard headlamps and the possibility of choosing the lens, the mask, the mask blocks and the bulbs at its discretion.

Retrofitting means the "box" of the lenses at the place of the installation lamp. The new lamp is being installed in a system with a lens. When selecting the lens for retrofit, it is important to keep in mind the size of the car's headlamp and that not every lens is designed to install xenon lamps. If you install the xenon lamps into the unsuitable lens, the headlights will be blinded by the oncoming and associated transport.
