The procedure for removing the berm in the RAV-4 is as follows:
(1) It is necessary to remove two bolts, which shall secure the intermediate support to the body, remove the two levelling washers, and detach the carmade shaft together with the shaft of the central bearing. It is necessary to take off neatly without making a lot of effort for the ball.
(2) Apply the assembly marks on the kardan and the differential case so that it can be properly installed.
3) Disconnect 4 nut clips and detach the card from the differential.
(4) Apply the assembly marks on the cardan and the gearbox.
(5) Unlink four nuts and detach the cardan from the endbox.
When the shaft is removed and stored, the shaft shall not be allowed to exceed 200.
