On the first generation, the first generation set a four-speed automatic transmission with a torque converter. In order for the gearbox to take longer, certain rules must be followed to use it.
- The switching of the "machine" position shall be carried out only when the vehicle is fully stationary and the brake pedal is pressed.
- Do not delay the neutral position when moving the lever from D to P and back, resulting in accelerated gearbox wear.
- It is necessary to start the movement only after a characteristic shock, which must occur immediately after the insertion of position D or P.
- It is not recommended to transfer the gearbox to the neutral position on the downhill, or at short stops.
