The first generation of Nissan audio system has two modes of playback volume: Quiet Sound: 4 and Default Value: 9
- Quiet sound: 4 and below
- Default value: 9
If the magnet was operating in mode 4 and quiet before the magnet was turned off, it automatically goes to mode 9 after being shut down and reactivated. If the volume is higher than 4, when the volume is turned on, the magnetol is operating at the same volume as when the magnet is turned off.
Turn off the ignition on the volume to the volume at least 5 if the volume is kept up after the tape is switched off.
