The brake fluid on the ninth lancer needs to be changed every two years or every 30,000. Kilometers. The replacement will require the actual fluid of the standard DOT3, the keys 8 and 10, the silicone with diameter of about 5 mm, the capacity and the assistant.

If there is a pit or a lift, the wheels may not be removed, if not, then you have to remove it. The brake system on Lancer 9 needs to be read in the following order: right rear, left front, left rear, right front.

  1. The first thing you need is a syringe out of the expansion beam with all the brake fluid and up to the right level.
  2. After that, we need to find a plaster in the back right of the air.
  3. You need to remove the blank filler, insert the hose, and put the end of the plug into the receptacle.
  4. Then it is necessary to start the engine and 5 times to push the brake pedal between 1 and 2 seconds.
  5. After the last push, the pedal must be held down (this work should be assigned to the assistant).
  6. As long as the pedal is pressed, you need to looser the stag.
  7. The brake fluid will be released and the pedal fails on the floor.
  8. When the brake fluid stops leaving, the connections must be turned off and the brake pedal released.
  9. This operation must be repeated three or four times until the air bubble is lost.
  10. The same should be repeated with the other sub-ports, in the sequence indicated above.
  11. When the pump is completed, you will need to fill the brake fluid to the MAX.
  12. If the brake pedal was pedal applied after the pumping, the brake was successfully applied.
