Drum rear brakes were installed on all vehicles with 1.6 litre engines. Motor vehicles 1.8 l. may be optionally equipped with disc rear brakes. Two-litre vehicles were equipped with disc brakes only on the rear. At the same time, American versions, regardless of engine size, were equipped mainly with drum rear brakes.
