To remove the oil control valve of the VTEC engine of the K20Z system to the Honda Civil 8: Remove the connector of the oil management valve and the oil pressure sensor (KQ model).
- Remove the shield and the panel under the cover.
- Disconnect the oil management valve connector and the oil pressure sensor connector (KQ).
- Remove the oil control valve from the crust by unlocking the three rack-mounting bolts.
- Install the valve in the sequence, reverse the valve, with the new sealings.
- Tightening the bolts of the valve with the torque of 12Nm.
