To remove the E6 engine coolant exit unit at the Citroen C4, you must: Install the car on the 2-rack lift. Disconnect the JCB, remove the protection of the engine, and remove the liquid from the cooling system. Then remove the air deflector and the air resonator. Remove the air deflection unit and remove the three rack-mounting bolts. Next, remove the battery pack and the JSCB itself, unzip the battery pack. front left splash and front of the ACBA. Disconnect the vacuum system and take it for ease of operation. Disconnect the following connectors: sensor position sensor (release and intake), power to the controlled thermostat, a temperature sensor and a temperature sensor and an oil temperature sensor. And then lift and disengage the gutter for the electrical wiring engine. Then disconnect the cooling liquid at all the parts of its inlet and outlet. Then remove the retaining clip at the thermostat junction. Disconnect the coolant exits and remove the thermostat. Remove the rest of the old liquid gasket from the contact surface of the cooling fluid exit unit, the bolts and their holes. Replace all seal of the thermostat enclosure. Install the new one on the inlet manifold of the cooling liquid. The installation is done in the opposite way. After the SCB has been connected to the cooling system, to remove the air and set the cooling system level.
- Install the car on the 2-rack lift.
- Disconnect the CCM, remove the protection of the engine and drain the liquid from the cooling system.
- Remove and remove the high power fuse box.
- Then remove the air deflector and the air resonator.
- Remove the air duct by unlocking the three rack-mounting bolts.
- Next, remove the battery pack cover and the JSCB itself, unbutton the battery pack.
- Remove the case of the JSCB, the front left splash splatter and the anchor of the JSCB.
- Disconnect the vacuum system and remove it for ease of use.
- Disconnect the following connectors: sensor position sensor (release and inlet), power to the controlled thermostat, temperature sensor, and oil temperature and temperature sensor.
- Then lift and disengage the gutter for the engine's electric harness.
- Detach the cooling fluid tube at all its entrances and exits.
- Then remove the retaining clip at the junction of the enclosure thermostat with the intermediate tube.
- Detach the coolant exits and remove the thermostat assembly by unlocking the three tabs.
- Remove the remains of the old liquid gasket from the contact surfaces of the cooling fluid outlet, bolts and their openings.
- Replace all seal of the enclosure with the thermostat.
- Install a new one on the inlet manifold of the coolant inlet manifold.
- The installation is done in reverse order.
- After the AQM connects the liquid to the cooling system, remove the air and set the cooling system level.
