In case of failure of the Citroen C4 engine, weak traction and low temperature vehicles, the cleaning of the engine power system nozzles is recommended. After this operation is carried out, the performance improves, the fuel is sprayed evenly by all the injectable nozzes, and the fuel is normalized in the cylinder. To clean the nozzles, you need a liquid to clean the injector or the carburetor.
To remove the nozzle, remove the fuel rail from which they are secured.
- Turn off the power of the nozzles and remove them from the ramp by breaking down the nozzle retainer along the ramp.
- Carefully remove the nozzle from the ramp.
- Put the injector in the tank cleaner, load the injectors into it, and let it rest for a while.
As a rule, the nozzle swarm is scrolled to the swarm deposits that need to be removed completely. In order to pressurize the injector channel, you can use a foot pump with a pressure gauge.
- Remove the tip of the hose from the pump and fill it with liquid to clean the injectors.
- Then put the hose on the nozzle and pump up to 4 to 6 atmosphes.
- Then, imitating the work of the nozzle into the engine, provide a short pulse to the pins of the EMC valve.
- The spray nozzle of the fuel should be characteristic of the form: "fan" with small sprays.
- If the nozzle is not leak-tight and the amount of fuel injected by it for the same period differs from the rest, the nozzle must be replaced.
The assembly is in reverse sequence. It is also recommended to replace the sealing rings of the nozzles and the intake manifold gaskets. If the old gaskets are installed, air pump is possible.
