Tension of the sprocting belt on the Studio 100 4th generation is checked at the following locations: On the 4-cylinder engine, between the gears of the intermediate shaft and the preset. On a 5-cylinder engine, between the gears and the pump shaft of the cooling system.
- On the 4-cylinder engine, between the six intermediate ramparts and the preset.
- On the 5-cylinder engine, between the gears and the pump chiller.
- In the 6-cylinder engine, between the gears and the top guide roller.
The test procedure is to remove the protective housing of the belt and roll the belt in the right place with the thumb and index finger. If it's drawn right, it can be 90 degrees isolated.
